MTV Video Music Awards 2012: Os Nomeados

Foram anunciados os nomeados da edição de 2012 dos MTV Video Music Awards. Na frente da corrida seguem Rihanna e Drake, ambos com 5 nomeações cada. Logo atrás surge Katy Perry, com um total de 4 distinções. Com 3 nomeações surgem artistas como os Coldplay, Frank Ocean, Beyoncé, The Throne (Jay-Z e Kanye West) e M.I.A. Outros nomes distinguidos com 2 nomeações são: Linkin Park, Gotye, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Fun, Lana Del Rey, entre outros. A polémica do ano parece ser a ausência de Lady Gaga, que não recebeu uma única nomeação.  Os primeiros performers a serem confirmados para a cerimónia são os One Direction e Alicia Keys. A 29ª edição dos VMA's decorre a 6 de Setembro, em Los Angeles.
